UPDATE 2/3/2020: We are still looking for male ensemble dancers/singers for our summer 2020 season:
Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's SWEENEY TODD
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, and Joe Masteroff's SHE LOVES ME
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE(sung in English)
Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's I DO! I DO!
For submissions we request that each package include two contrasting pieces (preferably both opera and musical theatre if the artist sings both, otherwise a ballad and an up-tempo offering would be great) as well as a monologue or an example of dialogue. If the artist dances and would like to be considered for dancing roles we will need a dancing reel as well. We request that the recordings be no more than a year old. We may request live call-backs in major cities (TBD) for some roles.
*Please no AEA artists as we are not currently able to offer union contracts.
These summer contracts run May 21 – August 8 and offer pay plus travel and housing.
Video package plus headshot and resume should be sent to Cassandra Coulam, Artistic & Company Administrator at . Videos should be sent as links, no video attachments please. Please test your links before sending and make sure they will not expire for at least 90 days.
If you recently auditioned or applied for a position you may not receive a rejection notice. Our General Director, Michael Ballam keeps copious notes and bio material on all artists, and although you may not be ideal for a role for our present season, you will be kept in consideration for future seasons. You are welcome to contact Cassandra at the above address for an update regarding your status.
