Volunteers are an essential part of Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre and play a vital role by helping to increase financial support, reducing costs, and providing skilled assistance.
Volunteers use their talents and special interests to help year round. Some contribute to special events, educational projects, artist hospitality, or public relations. Others help by working in various offices taking on diverse assignments such as data entry, word processing, answering telephones, translating, and other tasks.
Opportunities for volunteer service with UFOMT vary throughout the year, and from season to season. Appropriate training is given for agreed-upon assignments. Successful volunteer work is based on mutual respect and understanding between staff and volunteers.
