UHSMTA PARTICIPATION

PARTICIPATING IN THE 2020 UTAH HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS

Now registering schools for the 10^th Annual Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards (UHSMTA)! Below, you will find information on how to register your High School. These forms must be read and completed by a faculty member who is authorized by their school to commit to the UHSMTA program. If you are not authorized as such, we highly recommend you make the director of your High School's musical aware of this amazing program and express your desire for your school to be included.

Participating Musical Productions will:

• Be attended and adjudicated by theatre professionals.
• Receive verbal feedback to cast, crew, and artistic staff by adjudicators following attended performance.
• Receive written feedback to the Director from adjudicators.

Outstanding performances will be featured and recognized in an Awards Ceremony (like unto the Tony Awards) on May 16, 2020 with awards given for many accomplishments in all facets of theatre (Performances, Lighting, Set, Costumes, Ensemble, etc...). Best Actor and Best Actress winners will be sent to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, working for a week with Broadway professionals, and performing on the Minskoff Theater Stage.
