Cache Valley offers a setting of unsurpassed natural beauty with the full gamut of outdoor recreation and summer adventure. Visitors can enjoy bicycling, hiking, canoeing, bird watching, horseback riding, rock climbing, and fishing, while nearby Bear Lake is one of Utah’s biggest draws for water recreation. There are also excellent public golf courses, art galleries, antique stores, and museums in the area. The route through Logan Canyon on US-89 from Logan to Bear Lake is one of the West’s most spectacular scenic byways. Route 89 is also the shortest and most popular route from Salt Lake City to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National park.
